The graduate certificate program focus on the management, administration, and policy aspects of information security. Important areas include auditing and secure operations, security policies, information privacy, ethics, and procedures. The program is available on-campus or online.
The graduate certificate is recognized by the National Security Agency (NSA) based on its certification of the school’s curriculum for compliance with the requirements of NSA national training standards NSTISSI No. 4011 (Information Systems Security Professionals) and CNSSI No. 4013 (System Administrators).
The Curriculum for the Graduate Certificate in Information Security (Administration of Information System Security)
The Graduate Certificate in Information Security is a 15 credit-hour program that requires the completion of the five courses listed below. Each of these courses has prerequisite requirements which may be satisfied by taking the prerequisite courses listed in the course descriptions or by demonstrating equivalent experience or the completion of equivalent courses taken elsewhere.
